Hello friends welcome to this blog, a space that encourages communication and learning of English.
I'm
John Mario Mesa, I am proud to be Colombian, currently live in the city of
Bogotá, the capital of this beautiful country.
I am studying English to learn new communication skills.

I
want to share with you some interesting places located close to the house where
I live.

To the right is the National Park. Every day we went for a walk through the different areas. It is very cute; in it there are many trees, the grass, the garden and indoor sports.


A little more removed from my house are the following places of interest.

Nearby is the National Museum, landmark for all
tourists coming to the city. Here are
preserved the most valuable and genuine items, made of gold, clay and other
materials, made by our ancestors.
This is the tower Colpatria, is located on Seventh Avenue in the center
of the city. Here come many tourists to climb to the top floor, to have a
panoramic view of the entire city.
Another landmark, located close to my house is the bullring. Great architectural
monument of the city. Currently being converted into space for culture

This is my home, located in the Career sixth, number
35-37, the Merced neighborhood.
This house is part of the architectural heritage of the city and
is an English style, was built 80 years ago. This is the headquarters of the Community
Animation Service Movement for a Better World.
This
is the group of people with whom I work.
2. BEAUTIFUL SIGHTS AND
LOCATED CLOSE TO MY HOUSE
The first thing you see when you leave, is home to the Department of Antioquia,
is a departmental seat of government, there is make political meetings.
The people working there are very friendly and attentive, every day we
greet.

To the right is the National Park. Every day we went for a walk through the different areas. It is very cute; in it there are many trees, the grass, the garden and indoor sports.
This is the football field; here are amateur and
professional practices.

This is the field of amateur tennis is fun to see young and old play.
3. CULTURAL AND RELIGIUS
ISSUES
Very close to my house in the next street,
there is a museum of art and culture, where every day there are works of art of
national and international.

A little more removed from my house are the following places of interest.
The temple of Veracruz
(picture on the right) is a religious and historical heritage of the city of
Bogotá. In it are preserved beautiful wooden images carved altarpieces, also in wood.

Nearby is the National Museum, landmark for all
tourists coming to the city. Here are
preserved the most valuable and genuine items, made of gold, clay and other
materials, made by our ancestors.
This
is the Montserrat hill, is located on top of the mountain on the east of the
city. You will arrive on foot or by cable car. In the center is the shrine of
Lord of Montserrat, where many pilgrims come. This site is also a city
viewpoint.
4. BOGOTÁ IS A COSMOPOLITAN CITY
In Bogota, home to
eight million people, from various
regions of Colombia gives. Many people work in banks, the technology,
trade, casual labor, industry,
transport, confession, etc.., Young
people study at university.
Other people practice
the art on the streets.

Every night is illuminated by colored lights, it's beautiful.
